| Host a Meeting |
If
you want to host a meeting now, click on the link above. Meetings
may be private
or public, the primary difference being that a password is required
to join a private meeting.
Once you have started the meeting, participants simply click on
a Join link that is
displayed beside the listing in Events Underway. |
|
| Register an Event |
Use
this option to define a course, conference or presentation.
By defining a
scheduled event, people can browse your future event listing, enroll
in it and pay
for it (if fee-based). You can use built-in e-commerce to collect
enrollment fees, or
you can integrate using your own web-based e-commerce package. Scheduled
events are very versatile, being comprised of multiple live classes
per course, one-time-only
events, or repeating single sessions. |
|
| Message Boards |
Message
Boards are used to post messages and replies. Since messages
support
file attachments, Message Boards are perfect for distributing files,
tests, papers, etc.
Prior to hosting a meeting, a Message Board which you have access
to may be
assigned to the meeting, enabling participants to view messages
and download attachments. |
|
| Publish Recordings |
While
hosting a meeting or event, it may be recorded. The recording
feature (which captures webcam images, text chat, voice, whiteboard
and software emulations)
enables you to record classes and create content which may then
be viewed for free or on a
pay-per-view basis. Use this function to publish recordings
so that the listings
will appear in Streaming Presentations. |
